Single-Serve Coldbrew Original Matcha
A convenient way to make coldbrew matcha on the go
$24.00
Need a convenient way to make coldbrew matcha on the go?
Perfect for travel -- they weigh almost nothing and take up almost no space. Many people keep them in purses, gymbags, carry-ons, even cars! Cyclists and fitness enthusiasts love them -- coldbrew is so much more satisfying than water when thirsty.
Each packet contains 1.5 grams of Coldbrew Original, the perfect amount of matcha for an 8 to 12-oz serving (depending on how thick/thin you like it).
Simply fill your water bottle, mason jar, or other clean jar with icy-cold water (with or without actual ice--just be sure the water is very cold), add the matcha, and shake hard for about 10 seconds. Microbubbles will begin to form and eventually create a gorgeous crema on top that resembles a Guinness draft!
Blend 93 Matcha
vivid, alive, brothy
$48.00
The perfect entry-level hyperpremium matcha; that is, it's got lovely umami, has a vibrant, emerald color, has little bitterness or astringency, and has a nice, long finish that leaves a sweet and delicious aftertaste in the mouth (and also makes the breath fresh and sweet).
Why do people like our matcha so much?
Tastes like a combination of barely-cooked green beans, baby summer squash, and oceanic brine, all steeped in an earthy mellowness.
A tremendous value at this price.

Your Questions Answered
Where should a complete beginner start?
The Matcha Flight Kit. You taste several styles side by side, learn your preference in an afternoon, and avoid buying a full jar of the wrong tea.
Do I need a whisk and bowl to start?
No. We like the electric milk foamer and a simple tumbler. It produces wonderful crema. Coldbrew matcha needs only a bottle of cold water and a good shake. The traditional tools are a lovely upgrade, not an entry requirement.
What if I have only had bitter matcha before?
Then you have had overheated water, stale powder, inferior leaf, or possibly all three. Good matcha is naturally sweet and savory. Cooler water fixes some problems; better tea fixes the rest.
Is the Coldbrew Bundle beginner friendly?
It is the easiest possible start: shake with cold water and drink. No technique to learn and nothing to get wrong.
How much matcha do I use per drink?
Start with about a teaspoon (2g) and adjust to taste. Concentration is preference, not doctrine, and you will find your number within a few bowls.
