Dear Matchalings,
I've been thinking a lot about how to remain optimistic when so much in the world today points in the other direction.
Optimism makes you a better person. And there's lots of empirical evidence to back this up (reply to this if you like some citations, and look for a Journal post on this soon).
Optimists possess a deep belief in the ability to both cope and master any given situation. They're more resilient; they experience better health outcomes, they tend to live longer, and they have more meaningful relationships.
I'd much rather be an optimist and be wrong than be a pessimist and be right.
Matcha, for me at least, helps with my optimism. It helps me think more clearly. It keeps me well hydrated, focused, and "in the zone." Maybe it does for you too. I hope it does.
With the 24-hour news cycle of fear and anxiety permeating our lives even deeper, it's a good time to pause and remember that it doesn't have to be that way. Matcha really can help.
Stay optimistic please.
